Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team |

Good Evening,
Aldridge Neighbourhood Police have been busy as usual this set of shifts, attending incidents and appointments across Aldridge, Streetly, Pheasey & Walsall Wood.
Local officers attended The Thomas Project hub this week for a police surgery to discuss local issues/concerns and will be setting up a further engagement sessions for the same location in due course. Thank you to The Thomas Project who work hard for the community.
Spring has sprung as we have been patrolling #Aldridge centre the last few days. Locations include Anchor Road, High Street, Leighswood Road, Rookery Lane, Middlemore Lane, Anchor Meadow, Walsall Road, Paddock Lane, Dumblederry Lane... to name a few.
Officers have been on foot patrol utilising public transport to engage with young people/students on route to school, and passengers & drivers about any issues locally. Including patrols in Aldridge central to deter & prevent opportunistic business crime.
Officers attended @AldridgeSchool to positively engage with staff & students. Discussing a number of topics during a walkthrough and allowing an opportunity for young people to approach and have a general chat, supporting their wellbeing. Thanks for the hospitality. We have plans to do this in other schools across our patch.
The team have carried out a routine weapon sweep at Doe Bank Park in #Pheasey to look out for any suspicious or sharp bladed items that may have been discarded. We periodically carry out sweeps at green spaces across neighbourhoods for safety and reassurance.
Officers attended Manor Farm to have a discussion with The Motivation Hub service users about personal safety and keeping safe in the community, discussing local and wider crime and antisocial behaviour issues and how we help victims & vulnerable people.
Stay safe & vigilant
Aldridge Neighbourhood Police Team
